About Your Practitioner
Oncology Nutrition Consultant and Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner
DanaLynn Young, FNTP FBCS ONC
My passion for working with cancer clients developed from the devastating loss of my mother and aunt to cancer over 20 years ago. I was inspired by my mother’s use of nutrition and faith after her metastatic melanoma diagnosis, providing several more years to watch her grandchildren grow.
I enjoy helping clients to feel empowered and hopeful on their cancer and health journey. My goal is to provide each client with knowledge and personalized strategies using the power of deep nutrition and supportive lifestyle elements to foster health and wellness. I’m grateful for the opportunity to pursue my passion and receive certifications specializing in functional oncology nutrition.
About Me
I love the taste of ripe-to-bursting figs, trying new recipes using in-season produce, snuggling with my pups, and book club with girlfriends. Most weekend mornings you'll find me visiting local farmers markets and following it up with a hike, playing community pickleball, or paddleboarding on nearby rivers. I look for ways to incorporate joy in every day life!
I have lived the past 25 years in a suburb of Portland, Oregon, and I love all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer!
